Summary: Tricia truly made us feel at home for the week, she even had a high chair available for the baby! Even during a heat wave the home was cozy and the bedrooms so comfortable. The beautiful garden is stunning - thank you Tricia for the delicious raspberries!!

Summary: The host, Tricia was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed several conversations with her. We only had one request and she fulfilled that the very next day. She was all about making our stay as comfortable as possible. The actual place was well furnished with beautiful antique pieces throughout. Both bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. There are two bathrooms that were recently redone and look like they are out of a magazine. The yard is full of gorgeous plants, trees and flowers. I have never seen such beautiful gardens. It’s just breath taking. We sat out on the deck for hours enjoying the view. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Summary: What an amazing view! Tricia is a gifted gardener, and the deck overlooks her beautiful yard and beyond to the sea and mountains. Very comfortable with all amenities, and a covered parking space. Great place to explore the Cowichan valley from, and not that far from Victoria.

Summary: The house was as described on the website. It was very clean and cozy with beautiful views of the garden and the ocean in the distance. It was handy to have the washer and dryer right in the house. While there was a bit of a glitch with the TV, eventually it was solved. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This is a beautiful home. The owner is an interior designer, and it shows. The living space is both attractive, eclectic, and comfortable. Also, amazing gardens, with hummingbirds that greet you at the door. The kitchen is small but well outfitted; we cooked almost all of our meals at home. Appliances work well and linens are plentiful. We were encouraged to light a fire in the fireplace (lots of wood available for use) and it certainly made for cosy evenings in the living room, which we especially appreciated since the weather had just turned to Fall during our stay. Be aware that the second bedroom and bathroom are down a short flight of stairs, Many beautiful walks in the area; and definitely worth driving over to Cowichan River Provincial Park. Tricia is welcoming and friendly. We shared stories of past travels and ideas for future excursions.

Summary: We were two adults and two youngsters for ten nights and enjoyed every minute we spent at this lovely place with a charming European décor and beautiful lush garden. It was a great pleasure to sit on the deck with a great view of ocean and nearby Salt Spring island. Great location – 5 min walk to beach; right in the middle between Victoria and Nanaimo; close to all bays and wineries. And most important – a kind and gracious host Tricia! Thanks a lot for accommodating all our requests and needs! Looking forward to getting back next year!
